The description that you provide seems to suggest that you were not
quiecesing the system.

I have a handout on SWA that I give at COMMON.  If anyone wants a copy I
would be happy to provide a copy.

Hi
     when using save while active, we did notice that code - cl
specifically
would act
 strangely.
Specifically, we were allocating a file exclusively - which apparantly
succeeded
- and then
attempting to add (or clear - can't recall)  a member to the file which
would
fail.

This was 'bout 9 months ago so cannot recall any more than that..
The customer was on V4R3 or 4
