Eric,

Just an FYI on your restores.  If you use the SAVSAVFDTA command,
instead of saving the save file as a unit, you will be able to restore
directly from tape.  You would have the same advantage of no locks on
your production objects while you were putting it to tape.  SAVLICPGM
does not work, but I would imagine that that is not part of your regular
save.
