Jim, Thanks for replying. I was using dir, but it doesn't include things like the authority information and the group profile. For what I am doing, it would be best to get back a unix-like listing. I tried running something like ! qsh cmd('ls -l'), which works on the server, but from client, the command does not return anything. One workaround is to run the output of ls to a temporary file and then read the file.
