Michael, Most normal HP or other laser printers have enough scalable fonts to allow you to use: A FONT(420 (*POINTSIZE 8)) and get about any font or size you would need. On "true" IPDS printers you are limited to the native printer fonts that are marked as scalable or to downloadable from the font collection. I don't believe that you can mix or match. IBM also offers a type manager that can convert any ADOBE font to AFP format and load it to the 400 for use. A great source of info is the sequence of redbooks on AS/400 printing. Good luck! Konrad
