Oliver, The one solution I saw documented quite awhile ago was to set the timeout on the printer or jetcard to 0, effectively turning off buffering while establishing a more direct connection. Never tried it though and it may vary by printer or connection type on the remote end. We also don't use overlaid printer files with remote sites because of the extreme size of them. One 30 page report we tracked was about 32mb in size, tough to transmit over slow lines. For the future we are looking at converting our large remote reports to adobe pdf to shrink them in size by a huge factor and then just email them. HTH Konrad Underkofler
