Are you performing GET's on the target AS/400, or PUT's from another AS/400, or another platform? We were having similar, consistent problems performing FTP PUT for 2GB files from HP/UX to an AS/400. There turned out to be a overall timeout config parameter in FTP on the source system, defining the maximum time for the session regardless of errors. When we bumped up the limit we were able to PUT 2 - 2.5 GB files with no problems. It was, however, a bear to troubleshoot. I could dig a little deeper if I had more information. -Jim James P.
