I put a call in to IBM Support and they helped me. I had been going into Ops Navigator, File Systems, IFS, QDLS to check permissions, etc. when I should have been going into Network, Servers, TCP/IP, AS/400 Netserver, Shared Objects, QDLS. Sure enough, in the latter, QDLS was marked as read only. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cynthia Kovarik" <ckovarik@bellsouth.net> To: <midrange-l@midrange.com> Sent: Thursday, May 30, 2002 1:49 PM Subject: XP and CAE and QDLS This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I just upgraded to XP w/CAE and now my folders in QDLS are reporting as read only. Went through midrange list archives and found similar posting but no resolution. Ops Navigator shows shares and permissions setup ok. Windows Explorer shows as read only. Any and all help greatly appreciated! -- _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
