Does it show up in a PTF, or what? And what about the default collection issue? I'd found in the past that IBM would use the first library in the list as the default collection unless you started the list with a comma, how is this now handled? Makes me glad I don't use IBM's ODBC driver <G> -Walden ------------ Walden H Leverich III President Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x11 (208) 692-3308 eFax WaldenL@TechSoftInc.com http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur. Our particular scenario is that we are retrieving the library list from the driver (for display purposes) and our code broke when the returned libl had no commas in it. I have the PMR in my hand. The new driver does indeed use spaces, not commas. Here's the kicker: if you upgrade from an older version, the driver handles the library list for you (converting from comma delimited to space delimited). If you install a brand new driver you need to use spaces. Another wrinkle is that an upgraded driver will return a comma delimited list, whereas a new install will return a space delimited list. The documentation is being updated to reflect these changes. --buck _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
