If transferring in ASCII mode (the default) it should add new lines
automatically. What are you trying to do and what are you actually
getting?

It works OK on my machine. I just ran it to retrieve a small file into
Excel 2000 with no problem. What problems are you having?

Could the users access the QDLS directories before?
Have you defined a guest profile in Netserver to provide access if the
windows user is not enrolled on the AS400? If so, is it enrolled in the
system distribution directory?

In order to access QDLS the users need to be enrolled in the system
distribution directory (WRKDIRE command). However, you are better off
not using this directory if you do not need to. If all you want to do
is share files, create a directory in the IFS (MKDIR command) and use
Ops Nav to create a netserver share over it.
