You could set an accounting code prior to the execution of the program you want to track, and again after it finishes: CHGACGCDE ACGCDE(PROGRAMNAME) call programname CHGACGCDE ACGCDE(*BLANK) This information would be stored in the job accounting journal. You could then retrieve information about this program by selecting journal entries based on the accounting code you assigned. Information like Start Time, End Time and total CPU seconds used would be available. Of course, you will have to have job accounted activated in order to do any of this.
