The share for linux is not large (1%), but certainly larger than WebSideStory claims (0.25%). Particularly interesting is the chart of web browsers used to access google. The chart doesn't have numbers, but the graph indicates a sizable portion of non-IE users. Big enough that they can't be ignored. There are many reasons to not code specifically for IE.
