Booth, I do author the software we sell. So are you saying that it is ok for me to post unsolicited mail about it to the list? I think this is a pandora's box that should not be opened. For me or anybody. Re Brad's post, David has given the ok on that. Regardless of if I agree with that decision, it is David's to make. Not mine. So I'll comment no further on it. Thanks for that decision. I do see lots of differences between vendors and authors. I also consider vendors selling the software they authored as being very different than vendors selling goods and services. There's some pretty high-powered talent in this group. I consider Jon's work on "I never knew" to be both valuble and personal, even if came out of the IBM process for example, and Brad's work has been supportive and generous.
