Like the man said. If this is for an EDI project then I strongly
recommend an EDI package. Because if it is for EDI you can bet it will be
a multiformat physical file which is not normalized like:
ISA¦00¦ ¦00¦ ¦01¦006016547 ¦01¦609052584
¦020510¦0811¦U¦00200¦000003776¦0¦P¦@
GS¦PO¦006016547¦518348¦020510¦0811¦3018¦X¦003050
ST¦850¦7277
BEG¦00¦SA¦4500640826¦¦020510
NTE¦GEN¦9000, post G-14, trim date 5/16
CUR¦ZZ¦USD
REF¦DK¦1012
ITD¦08¦3¦0¦¦30¦¦¦¦¦¦¦net thirty
...
and then it finally starts getting to the data.

And the package we have used for many years is Peregrine, was Harbinger,
was Premenos, was ACS Network systems.

There are a couple of stories right now about them. They changed from
Arthur Anderson to KPMG. KPMG discovered some strange accounting
practices which resulted in the resignation of their CEO and CFO. It's
all on their web site. Stock is cheap right now.

Subject: tilde ~ as end-of-record terminator for streamfile?

We've been instructed to expect a file with a tilde (~) as the
terminating
character for each record and an asterisk(*) as the field delimiter. Is
there a way with CPYFRMSTMF to receive this file?
