Dave,
We use the Trailblazer software here (EDI-INT compliant also) and it
has made our lives much easier. CL commands handle the FTP startup and all
processed in between and you can monitor for errors using MONMSG. It is
1000 time better than scripting. We also use the SMTP product.

like some more detailed info and personal experience type items.

We are looking at evaluating FTP software for the AS400. We currently
override TXT files for the FTP commands but it does not offer any error
checking - yea, I know we could do that ourselves but why reinvent the
wheel. If anybody has any recommendations I would sure appreciate it. Need
to be able to run in batch (automatically), error check, and possibly use
from desktops.
