BCC Drop iSeries Disk Prices Following IBM Cuts

Highpoints of BCC's price changes:
· Prices reduced by up to 30%.
· BCC 35GB 10K disk priced same as IBM 17GB disk - $1,400.
· BCC 15K disk up to 80% faster than IBM 10K disk.
· Faster performing BCC 15K disk cost less than IBM 10K disk.
· First iSeries disk to cost as low as .05 cents per megabyte.
May 5, 2002; (Irvine, CA) -  BCC Technologies, Inc. announced today
across-the-board price cuts in its Extender(tm) Disk Drive models effective
immediately. Prices for BCC's Extender(tm) Disk Drive (EDD) family are
reduced by up to 30 percent. Cost per megabyte was dropped to .05 cents on
the 10K RPM 17 GB disks and to .07 cents on the 15K RPM 17 GB disks. BCC's
10K RPM 17 GB disk was lowered from a list of $1,250 down to $900, a savings
of $500 over the similar product from IBM.
