Is it a one-way conversation (here, go process this file) or two way (here's
part number 987, how many are on hand?)  For one-way, you have FTP quote
rcmd (see the FAQ), DDM files (SBMRMTCMD or RUNRMTCMD I forget which at the
moment).  If you have ANYNET running you can SBMNETJOB.

For a two-way process you might be better off using a sockets program (see
the FAQ)
