Couldn't agree more. Data typing is contextual. Array indexing with character strings is neat, similar to something in PERL. 400 implementation can be a little strange with regard to file I/O. There is also a cost in performance to establish a runtime environment for REXX. Another cool thing, however, is that you can put REXX statements inline into net.data scripts.
