Stu, >The CLs end up being called when you delete ANY userprofile. There are no >other exit programs registered on QIBM_QCA_RTV_COMMAND, but there is one on >QIBM_QSY_DLT_PROFILE DLTP0100 - QSYS/QYPSUSRPEX, and i've no idea what >this is! >Doing a job trace shows that the above programs are called when you delete >a userprofile, ... You are correct. Two programs are called during the delete of a user profile to clean up job schedule entries that might exist for the Change Activation Scd Entry (CHGACTSCDE) function. My testing shows that each program did one RMVJOBSCDE. Since the entries may have been created for the user profile, the DLTUSRPRF command attempts to removing them. That is not the end of the story. It turns out that the QYPSUSRPEX program may also remove job schedule entries. It is a Management Central program that removes entries for jobs that it has scheduled for the user profile being deleted. The bottom line is that it looks like this is working correctly. Your use of the QIBM_QCA_RTV_COMMAND exit point allows you to find places, like this one, where the system uses CL commands to do its work. Ed Fishel, edfishel@US.IBM.COM
