To send from the IFS, you need to specify the directory you put the file into on a lcd (local change directory). If you specify a LCD xxxxxx, the 400 FTP client thinks you mean a library and changes the client NAMEFMT to 0, (QSYS.lib file system), but if you specify lcd /directoyname, then the 400 FTP client goes into namefmt 1 (IFS) and will change to the directory name not a lib name. Then simply do your PUT to the remote system. cjg Carl J.
