Performance Issue

Cobol400 program from a CL? (i.e. a non-S36 environment)

Nothing worth noting I suspect.  However, if performance is an issue, and
the COBOL program is called frequently it will probably be performing
poorly.  Why? because the first COBOL program in the stack is the root of
the run unit and when it returns control to the caller the run unit is
destroyed.  When it is called again the run unit is created, then destroyed
on exit then .........

avoid it.
