You can combine multiple QMQRYs in something called a QMPRC, or QM
procedure. Substitution variables can be set using a callable interface to
Query Management. This is instead of setting them in the STRQMQRY command,
since you don't want to build your QM procedure on the fly, probably.

Details are in the Query Management Programming manual (any release),
chapter 7, I think. There are examples for setting variables in C, RPG, &
COBOL.
