I "personally" know of an account that has a D20 running V2.3,
that had a guy come in and reset the machine date back to 197x,
or whatever that magic date is that works with 01/01/01. He also
wrote a series of programs that actually changes the working dates
after the data has been entered. It had to be done that way, since
they didn't own or have the source code.

It remains that way to this day.

(The owner of the source code wanted $35K for the conversion)

I had "passed" on the chance to handle this wonderful account.
