Dale,

Dreamwriters provide parameters (data selection options) to JDE
batch/interactive programs. This also includes job, print, OPNQRYF,
sort and update criteria. It is possible to have corruption (of a
field) in one of the following D/W files:

F98301 DREAM Writer Master Parameter
F98302 DREAM Writer - Processing Options
F98303 DREAM Writer - Version Headings
F9831 Dream Writer Values Parameter File
F98311 DREAM Writer - Headings File
F98312 DREAM Writer - Printer Overrides

But, I have only seen this happen once. BTW, we're currently running
at World, CUM 9.

There are also variations called "recursive" dreamwriters. I
*think* that these update key D/W files during batch processing.
I'm not sure what would happen if you cancelled one of these at
the wrong time. This is where I would look first.

IMO, if you haven't experienced a hardware problem, then its a JDE
problem ;-)

Good Luck,

Terry
