I've used these before during a backup which brought QINTER down, on a remote 400. If you know another way to change system values without logging on I'd be interested in knowing. Maybe OpsNav has that ability, I don't know, I just don't use/like OpsNav. Regards, Jim Langston From: rob@dekko.com Why would you have to log on to the system console to fix it? I don't use 5250 for code/400. Rob Berendt Jim Langston <jlangston@celsinc.com> CHGSBSD SBSD(QSYS/QINTER) SGNDSPF(MYLIB/MYDISPLAY) Do this for any subsystems you want the signon screen to be displayed for. Do *NOT* change it for QCTL. If the display file is bad you'll need to log onto the console to fix it, and you can't do that if it's bad for QCTL also.
