It would be on Power PC hardware, not Intel and a laptop is quite a restricted hardware environment. The point (which I badly made) is that making OS/400 widely available to university students (let it LPAR Linux too whilst I'm dreaming!) will make them more familiar and when they graduate they will be less likely to slam the door in the face of an iSeries BP when they propose an iSeries solution. This isn't really germane to the 'cheaper servers' thread, but I thought it useful to report that I had asked a similar question of Dr Soltis. --buck
