I know you are all dying to know what reason code 9 is, and the suggested help; What; 9 - The data for the field EMID is not valid for the data type of the TOFILE. How to fix it; 9 - Change the data in the FROMFILE. Helpful, what? EMID is a numeric field, defined as being 16 digits long on the AS/400. The file is a PC file of our mailing database. If there is a better way of getting the data on to the AS/400 (and bear in mind I'll have to roll this task out for to a USER(!)) I'm open to suggestions.
