Frank, Unless your users are signing onto more sessions than has been the norm, I think it is possible that someone is trying to hack into your system, perhaps via telnet. Are you open to the internet? Perhaps if you started the security journals and more closely monitor your history, you could get a fuller picture. Get someone from networking involved.
