Mike, A summary of procedures along with an API cross reference would be handy. I will enter a request to add one. At this time, the iSeries-toolkit supports about 50+ APIs (and growing), but does not support any of the Spool file APIs. I believe that another open source project -- DBG400 hosted at www.dbg400.net does support some spool file APIs.
