Why certainly!  ;)

You can attach a data queue to an output queue.  When a
spooled file reaches the *RDY status, it will write an entry
to the data queue which you can read and do whatever you
want with.

I wrote an article for MC on this (Give Your Output Queues a
Trigger Finger) a while back.  I'm pretty sure it's still on
the www.mcpressonline.com website.

Let me know if you can't find it.
