of course not, Al, and you know that, what I meant
was that the part of the total price of the disk drive
that is due to the writing of the microcode is so small
that it is for all intents of purposes free.
Now, you could maintain that the driver code for
the same disk drive when used in an AS/400 is
so much more difficult to write than the code for
the drive when used in the xSeries that that explains
the difference, but if so, the AS/400 deserves to go.
