What's the deal with the prices on iSeries drives? $2000 for a 10k 17.5 GB drive! We're working on getting a quote for a Dedicated Server for Domino or an Exchange solution. Software will be comparable, but the disk drives are killing the hardware quote. Of course, I would love to go this route, but can anyone give me some pointers to justify the $1800+/drive difference between the IBM disks and pc disks? Are there any other drive or storage solutions?
