Thanks everyone. RCLSTG *DBXREF ran in 10 minutes & freed up a little bit of space. A good time to run it is immediately before or after a backup when we need to go restricted anyway. I forgot that the AS/400 could use variable lengths because so much stuff is designed with fixed length.
