                               SI01923 is included in cumulative PTF

                               package C1226510 which has been

                               withdrawn.

               REASON DEFECTIVE: If a saved system is used to upgrade

                                 to Version 5 Release 1.0 you will

                                 get errors, resulting with message

                                 CPF3DF1 and the file system will be

                                 unusable.

               RECOMMENDATION: Apply the fixing PTF SI02097 or omit

                               SI01923 before applying cumulative PTF

                               package C1226510.

                               C1226510 has been withdrawn.

                               SI02097 is included in cumulative PTF

                               package C2036510.

                               SI02097 is included in cumulative PTF

                               package C2036510.


12. 02/01/21 DEFECTIVE PTF: SI01650

               LICENSED PROGRAM = 5722SS1

               APAR NUMBER: SE03925



               USERS AFFECTED: All OS/400 users with PTF SI01650

                               applied and who don't have PTF

                               SI01348 applied.

               REASON DEFECTIVE: If PTF SI01348 is applied or cumulative

                                 PTF package C1163510 or a later

                                 cumulative PTF package is applied,

                                 you are not exposed to this problem.

                                 If PTF SI01650 is installed without

                                 PTF SI01348 the IFS will not start

                                 properly during the next IPL.

                                 PTF SI01348 should have been a pre-req

                                 to PTF SI01650, but was not.

               RECOMMENDATION: Apply the fixing PTF SI02854.

                               SI02854 is included in cumulative PTF

                               package C2036510.
