Start at the online manuals for any release of OS/400 but the S/36 side is gonna be a little tougher..... Display station passthrough is what you want(I assume) but if it's just file transfer, that's a wee bit easier depending on software installed on both boxes..... Some of the S/36 stuff is actually available in the OS/400 manual set under the S36EE.... Neither presents too big a problem if you are experienced on both machines.
