One of the guys here is saying that we can't use SSL with the version of
WebSphere we have?
None of us are very familiar with JAVA,.jsp, or WebSphere so any help would
be appreciated.
Here are his comments:
"I was looking into using SSL for security for our User Authentication
system, but it does not look like it is compatible.
SSL works fine with .htm, .asp, and other types of web pages, but it
won't work with .jsp pages because .jsp pages are
converted into servlets and so are not "real" web pages. So we will not
be able to use SSL for security."
Is this statement true?

version 3.5
platform Windows NT.

He is also telling us we need WebSphere Application Server 7.4 Advanced
Edition and
WebSphere Studio Application Developer. I am not sure if we really "NEED'
these or if
he just wants us to have them.
