We use synapse products as well. Never one problem.

My longtime choice for iSeries is just about any software from Synapse.
Their latest is the IP Client series which offers any combination or all of
the three primary components that make up a connectivity client: display,
printer, and/or file transfer.

The main thing is that their software, which reflects over 22 years of
connectivity experience, is solid. They offer free tech support and are
about the only company I know of that offers free online updates through
their web site so there are no nickel-dime annual maintenance contracts.

The have a free trial copy at http://www.synapse.com. It's not free but it
is very reasonably priced. You get something.

Claimer: I sell, support, use, and recommend products by Synapse and have
been since I discovered them in 1983.
