We have a data queue tied to an output queue where errors go, and a program that processes the data queue by sending the spool file via e-mail to a user, then deleting the spool file. For quite a while I didn't notice that this monitoring job had a message waiting, so spool files, and data queue entries, were building up. During this time it seems that a lot of users (or someone unknown) were deleting their spool files, some which happened to be in this output queue with the data queue attached. So when the data queue entry is processed to send the spool file, and error occurs because the spool file no longer exists. There are 187 spool files in the output queue, but I have no way of knowing how many entries in the data queue. I would like to just clear out the data queue and process these spool files manually, but I can not find a CLRDTAQ command. Anyone have any suggestions besides deleting the data queue and recreating it? Regards, Jim Langston
