I do an Advanced Work Management class at COMMON that talks about that very topic, and gives the exact how to, including the subsystem descriptions, routing programs, and all the "stuff" that needs to be done to accomplish your goal. I am doubtful about your bosses guess that this will fix the freezing problem as others have stated.
