Hey John....

It sounds like your intranet is on the original servers and configured with
%%CLIENT%% so that clients have to connect through a challenge to the
browser for the profile and password. Take a look at the PROTECT keyword. I
forget offhand, but I think you can set up a path on the protect keyword for
the browser challenge and then just put the directory out in an unprotected
(public) folder.

Another alternative is to open another port, configured just for the public
stuff and then redirect requests there.
