What is it with the iSeries that attracts users? Is it the box or is it the OS? I always thought it was the rich set of tools in the OS and, number one, the relational database. If you move to AIX then aren't you moving to more of a piecemeal system? Would this actually be better than the integrated OS on the iSeries?
