Keep in mind that the IFS includes essentially everything you store on the system. So, in that sense, it has all of the available space on all of the drives you have in all of your ASPs. And, in that sense also, the space that's "assigned" is the space that's currently used by all of the objects on your system. Further, if additional space is needed and available, it will be used -- effectively, there's nothing else that _can_ use available space.
