We have used Windows RAS and hardware based RAS servers. Either works well. If you use a Windows based RAS then you are limited by the number of serial ports on the machine to hook up modems to. I have a 32 port Digi Board around here somewhere if you need lots of serial ports. A while back we installed Quick Stream Bandits and Sonic. They were make by the same company. They were hardware based RAS servers. Attach a PC modem on one side, ethernet on the other to your LAN and away you go. We found them to be very reliable, and easy to configure with a Web interface. cjg Carl J. This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Several of our PC-based customers use AOL to get on the internet and transfer files to our system (via FTP batch program). They're not happy with AOL service, for whatever reason, and local ISP connections are an expensive option for them. My boss would like to give them the option of us being their ISP, and then letting them FTP the files to us. FTP only, nothing else. How do I make this happen?
