You can create your own custom upgrade tape by using option 40 off the
LICPGM menu. Of course, you have to upgrade one box first from CDs, but
after that it's easy.

step back
from
                 where we were at around 1994.  You used to get tailored
release
upgrade
                 tapes, so with 8mm your entire upgrade was on one tape.
