RE: Memorex 5450 tape drive = what IBM tape drive?

Peter,

Have you tried turning on auto-configuration and powering on the drive.
If it represents a compatible device, it should create its own device
description.  If it is unable to create its own device description, then
it is not compatible or needs to be configured in some way.
