Word can reformat text files and turn multiple lines into a single 'paragraph'. Click on the '¶' button on the toolbar to see the control codes. A paragraph in Word is really one line. Word will wrap it within its defined margins. I like Textpad for this kind of thing. If you turn wordwrap OFF and reformat (CRTL-SHIFT-J) and you have 'Word Break' on in preferences, you get it formatted within the line length, with line breaks. If you have wordwrap ON, you don't get the line breaks. This is a great way (IMO) to format SQL, say, then set line length to 77 (1 less than length of line to paste into), then reformat and you can paste into Interactive SQL. TextPad can also save as UNIX, DOS, or MAC - difference is the line delimiters. BTW, it's cheap - c. $30 US. There are some who've contributed RPG syntax files for it, even! <www.textpad.com>. I use it, I love, it, I don't sell it. <g> Chris Bipes wrote: > > Your right it does not wrap it. That sucks.
