I think you got that info wrong on what models are not supported by V5..... The "only" risc boxes affected at this point are the 9402-400 and it big brother the 9406-500. The servers models that go along with that family are also in that group. This was the first RISC box and they had limited growth from a memory stand point due to a small number of simm slots..... I believe the only reason they are not being supported is a memory issue, since V5 requires a "great deal" more memory to function. The 170's and 720's don't suffer from that problem.....
