Except we are getting a PQT3625 error message: "Connection with device xxxxx is being retried." after 15 of these (error limit is reached) the job end. Device is there and varied on. Can ping 127.0.0.1, but there is nothing listening on Port 5002 (also tried (5013) per a couple of examples. NETSTAT shows no one using either of these ports and I can't find what server (if any) needs to be started to make this work. Reason we thought need PASE is we were getting message, IPS4006 - Portable App Solutions Environment option is not installed. When doing STRTFMMGR, which we thought might start the programs to listen on ports for transfomation. Also the announcement letter states that InfoPrint has Hardware Requirements of a iSeries Server with PASE enviroment (mode 600 or higher). If I'm off base on what need to be done. I'd appreciate any pointers as to where to look or go to get this resolved. Thanks, -- Jim Lowary >>> bdietz@3x.com 02/11/02 03:22PM >>> ... I just set it up today. I set up only to create PDF's, pretty easy actully. Just CRTPSFCFG and CRTDEVPRT and away you go. ... ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
