Al may correct me on this, but last I checked the answer was NO. The way we get around this is to have a CL that runs on the console which at a predetermined time, brings the sys down to dedicated environment, then does all the backup procs that a GO SAVE 21 would do, then either calls QSTRUP or does a IPL..
