Unless you wish to purchase message management software (which I would be delighted to sell to you!), you need to write a program that runs continually sitting on a RCVMSG with RMV(*NO) specified! on QSYSOPR, you can then check each message ID, and if it is the undesirable one, RMVMSG afterward. The program will only use CPU when it wakes up when a message arrives.
