BTW, I started interactive SQL via STRSQL and entered the following command;

CREATE DATABASE

and then pressed F4 and received the following message at the bottom of the
screen;

DATABASE or SCHEMA changed to COLLECTION.

the MSGID is SQL6121 and the Additional text is;

 Message . . . . :   DATABASE or SCHEMA changed to COLLECTION.

 Cause . . . . . : DATABASE and SCHEMA are provided as alternate keywords
for
   COLLECTION for compatibility. COLLECTION is the preferred term.

 Recovery  . . . :   None Required.

Subject: CREATE DATABASE (Was: RNMOBJ of *LIB fails with CPF2136)

Hello Martin,

You wrote:

But it does support that syntax. Type CREATE DATABASE FREDNURK into ISQL
(i.e., STRSQL) and watch what happens.

DROP DATABASE FREDNURK works too.

It also works from a source file processed by RUNSQLSTM. This is at 440
but I'm sure that support has been around for ages.

Simon Coulter.
